Illustration Friday: Seed

The seeds of Spring are flowering everywhere around here where I live. I tried two different varieties of the same illo. Which do you like better? The black defining lines or the inverse? Your feedback is greatly appreciated. :) Happy Spring!

    I prefer the second, really love the black line work and how it emphasises the delicate details.

    I can’t decide which one I like better, I like the way you did the trunk on the top one but I love the line work on the bottom one…THey are both beautiful!

    I like them both, but I love the way you have drawn the tree in the second one. It reminds me of a cherry blossom tree.

    They are both cute as the dickens, but if pressed I would say I like the reverse line in the trunk on the first one, but I like the curly cue foliage of the second one best. Nice job on both!
