The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Saturday, October 6th, 2012

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a “Mormon.” I love it so much. This weekend is conference weekend where we hear from our Prophet of God on the Earth today. If you have never seen conference and would like to know more about it or watch it, click here.

Felt Cupcakes Activity

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012

So I got out my sewing scissors and pinking shears today and cut felt pieces into a little “cupcake kit” for my daughter to play with.

I already had lots of felt scraps on hand, so this really didn’t cost anything. Yay!

Now to clean up the mess…

Colorful, Healthy, After-School Snack

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012

Keeping up with after-school snacks is kinda hard for me. Especially because I want to try to make things healthy as much as I can around here. I don’t always succeed, but I’ve noticed that if healthy things are colorful, they are more interesting to my kids. :)

Frozen blueberries, small sweet peppers, frozen peas:

I’m missing the color blue in this rainbow of food…how ’bout a blue tablecloth? 😉

Saturday at Sundance

Monday, October 1st, 2012

If you are in Utah in the fall, you must visit Sundance. These pictures don’t do it justice as many of them are just phone pics. It was so beautiful! We brought up a picnic and had fun looking at the many vendor booths. We didn’t ride, but for $10 a person you can ride on the ski lifts and get a bird’s eye view of the gorgeous changing leaves.
